The 2018 Tenimento dell'Ör Ticino Merlot - Riserva is deep and intense in its dark cherry color, and it offers a very intense and spicy nose of perfectly ripe and concentrated Merlot berries that give flavors of cassis and black cherries. This selection of the best grapes from the tenuta's best parcels is fresh and vital on the palate yet also firmly structured by tannins and a refreshing mineral acidity. The wine is pure and fleshy but still a baby compared to what it will develop over the years in the bottle. Provided with blackberry, blueberry and cherry aromas and an elegant and refreshing texture, this is one of the finest Ticino Merlots in its very particular and unique style. 13% stated alcohol.
