Dichtes, pfeffriges Rotkirschenbouquet. Hat sich praktisch nicht entwickelt, die Säure und die Tannine sind noch voll da. vorbei89 Wine SpectatorShows sweet tobacco, seashell and blueberry aromas that follow through to a medium body, with very well-integrated tannins that are polished and fine. A dark ruby color is followed by a medium-weight Pomerol offering aromas and flavors of black fruits mixed with dried herbs, minerals, and oak. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2018. Producer Château NeninChâteau Nenin stands as one of the grandest properties in Pomerol, lying on the outskirts of the Catusseau village. The property is home to 25 hectares of vineyards and a beautiful 19th century château. Since 1997, the estate has been owned by the Delon family of châteaux Léoville Las Cases and Potensac. The wine is a blend of mostly Merlot with smaller parts of Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). Aged in 50% new oak barrels for 18 months, Nenin is a deep, fruit-forward red. The famed Michel Rolland also consults for the château.
