2008: An elegant, fruit-driven, deep ruby/plum-colored effort, the medium-bodied 2008 reveals lots of sweet red and black currant and cherry fruit notes intertwined with hints of cedarwood, underbrush and spice. Drink this round, pure, endearing wine over the next 6-8 years.
88 Wine Spectator
Blackberry, chocolate and tobacco flavors have good density in this fresh, balanced red, which is juicy, with bright acidity and a floral, minerally finish. Fruity, but has depth. Drink now through 2017. 13,330 cases made. –TM .

Château Belgrave
Included as a fifth growth in the 1855 Classification thanks to the quality of its deep gravel soil, Château Belgrave has been managed by the négociant firm, Dourthe since 1979. Planted to a single block, Belgrave has some of the greatest terroirs in the Médoc. Thanks to in-depth modernization and expert care in the vineyards and the cellar, Château Belgrave is now among the elite of Médoc great growths.
