lack plums and cherries with some lavender undertones on the nose. Medium body with fine tannins and a freshness and crispness with energy. Some attractive primary fruit. Hard not to drink but even better in a couple of years.

Castello del Terriccio
Castello del Terriccio is a significant estate located north of Bolgheri, within the Maremma lines. Spread across a major block of Tuscany, encompassing an impressive 1,700-hectares, the land is home to 60-hectares of vineyards and a horse farm. The sloping plots of vines overlook the sea, providing a maritime-like microclimate. Former rider, Gian Annibale Rossi di Medelana Serafini Ferri owns this beautiful property and continues his passion for horses as an avid breeder at his farm. Producing some of Italy’s most modern wines, consulting oenologist, Carlo Ferrini crafts four fresh yet complex reds, and two whites. The rich flagship wine, Lupicaia is now its own brand – bottled under G.A. Rossi di Medelana. In the same spirit of excellence, the property produces Tassinaia, a boldly structured Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend.
