The Tezza estate was first established in the 1960s by husband and wife team, Giovanni and Virginia Tezza. Since then the property has been passed down within the family, and today, three cousins, Flavio, Vanio and Federico run the estate together. Their years of experience in the wine world, specifically in the Valpentena and Valpolicella areas, has contributed to the overall success of Tezza’s modern-day style. Embracing new techniques to ensure high-quality products, the cousins heavily invested in the estate in 1998. The winery is situated just northeast of Verona, in Poiano, where the entire winemaking production takes place. The resulting wines, made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grape varieties, are exceptional and authentic bottlings showing the shared dedication of these three individuals.
