Reine Pédauque
Reine Pédauque has had quite unusual beginnings. Back in 1936, a famous Parisian restaurant, La Rôtisserie de la Reine Pédauque, desired to create its own range of wines, which they named Reine Pédauque. In 1949, they established their own cellars in the historical centre of Beaune and over 20 years later, they began exporting their wines to international markets. Since this time, Reine Pédauque has become a brand of Corton André, and up until 2002, was owned by the André family. In 2003, the Ballande family purchased the company, adding to their portfolio of Bordeaux négociants - Sovex Woltner and Ballande & Meneret - as well as their Bordeaux château, Prieuré-Lichine.
