Enrico Serafino
Founded in 1878 by Enrico Serafino, this small winery can be found in the heart of Roero, in the historic town of Canale d’Alba. By the end of the 19th century, Enrico Serafino was one of the first cellars to export their wines to foreign countries, reaching areas outside of Europe. Previously owned by Gruppo Campari, the Enrico Serafino brand was bought in 2015 by the American company, Krause Holdings, Inc. Under the watchful eye of world renowned oenologist, Giuseppe Caviola, the wines have remained benchmark examples of their regions. Noted for their production of the classic Piemontese wines, the bottles from Roero, Moscato d’Asti and Nebbiolo are especially remarkable. In addition to their high-quality red and white production, the winery was one of the first to craft a prestigious sparkling Methode Champenoise cuvée in Piedmont. Made in the traditional Metodo Classico – following the same techniques as in Champagne – their Spumante offers an incomparable price-performance ratio.
