This domaine was for years called Robert Arnoux, but changed its name with the 2008 vintage. Pascal Lachaux is Robert's son-in-law, and he has been making the wine since 1995. When his son, Charles started helping him, they felt it was time to take another step forward, changing the name to reflect future generations while keeping the Arnoux legacy intact. They make an impressive 17 wines from regional appellations (Bourgogne) as well as four Grand Crus (Clos de Vougeot, Echézeaux, Latricières Chambertin and Romané-Saint-Vivant). They own the majority of their vineyards but also make some négociant cuvées as well. Their style could be considered more 'modern', meaning that they like to be the fruit at the forefront and are not shy of ageing in new oak barrels. But in the most recent vintages, they have been keen to embrace other winemaking techniques in the hopes of allowing the terroir to surface in a more expressive way.
