Château du Retout
Château de Retout saw a rebirth in the 1950s, when the property was acquired by the Kopp family. Since then, this estate has been thriving with 34 hectares of vineyards planted in the Cussac-Fort-Médoc commune located in the Haut-Médoc. The vineyards are made up of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller plantings of Merlot and Petit Verdot, as well as two hectares planted to white varieties. Today, the second generation is at helm, daughter, Hélène and her husband, Fédéric Soual. Château de Retout is known for their authentic Bordeaux character, depth and potential, these are wines for the traditional-styled Bordeaux lover.
