Morey Saint Denis 1937 75cl

First created in 1830, Arthur Barolet is an old established négociant whose older bottles have known to be legendary at times and capable of long cellaring (and like most other négociants' bottlings, probably did not contain 100% Pinot Noir). When Arthur Barolet passed away in 1969, he left behind an extensive and unique collection of 160,000 bottles plus two hundred 228-litres casks ageing wine from as far back as from 1954. Though the firm still exists in the same house in Savigny-Lès-Beaune, it is now owned by Schenk, a company based in Rolle, Switzerland.
