Winery and historic site located in the hills of Chianti, founded in 1976 when four families from Rome set out to restore the prestigious estate to its former glory. In 1982, following significant investments in both vineyard and cellar, the arrival of Marco Pallanti, then a young agronomist, provided the decisive boost for the pursuit of uncompromising quality. Today, Castello di Ama owns and manages about 75 hectares of vineyards and 40 hectares of olive groves, employing over 60 people. The average annual production is around 320,000 bottles, mostly consisting of wines under the Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin 'Chianti Classico'.

Castello di Ama is especially known for its production of fine wines, including Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and wines from international grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The four valleys from which the wines originate are within a 1.5 km radius of the winemaking cellar. All production comes exclusively from vineyards managed by the estate under a sustainable farming regime.
