Valentini

The greatest name in Abruzzo, if not, Italian viticulture in general, Valentini represents not only a great estate, but also a historic family tradition. Coming from Spanish origins, the Valentini family has been recognized as one of the finest producers from Abruzzo since the mid-1800s. Edoardo was the first Valentini to exclusively manage the property, starting from the 1950s until his passing in 2006. Since then, Edoardo’s son, Francesco and his wife, Elèna have been in charge of the estate. Located along the Adriatic coast of Italy, the Abruzzo region is better known for their easy drinking, every day wines, however, Valentini represents the utmost quality, producing rare and luxurious creations. The estate is home to 60 hectares of vineyards and olive groves found in the heart of the Colline Teramane DOCG zone. Valentini produces just three wines, one white - Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, one red - Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and one rosé - Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo. Each wine is produced traditionally for greatness, they are best characterized for their rich and lavish textures.
