Solemme

Situated just south of Reims, the Solemme House lies in Villers aux Nœuds. Established in 2009, owner and cellar master, Oliver Langlais has since adopted organic viticulture and viniculture in 2010, he also uses some biodynamic techniques as well. The estate spans 6 hectares of vineyards planted to Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The terroir is made up of diverse slopes and geologically soils, made of chalk, clay, limestone, silt, and sand. While the wines are vinified separately by the Villedommange cooperative, the Champagnes are developed at the Solemme cellars. The resulting certified organic wines are rustic and distinctive in style.
