Signorello Estate
Signorello was created in the mid 1980s when Ray Signorello Jr. bought a 40-hectare estate on the Silverado Trail. His original goal was to grow quality grapes to sell to existing wineries, but 1985's abundant crop changed his destiny forever. He custom crushed the excess grapes and could not turn back. In 1986, he began construction on a new winery and over the years he planted more and more vineyards within his estate as well as multiple varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. Ray continues to make their five wines including varietal offerings and their top wine, Padrone, a proprietary red blend which is produced in honor of his father, Ray Signorello Sr. and which expresses the utmost quality of the estate.
