Quinta Do Vesuvio

Quinta do Vesuvio is a historical Port producer, situated in the primitive yet picturesque Douro Superior region. This estate has been owned by the Symington Family Estates since 1989. The Symingtons have been in the Port industry for centuries, they all well-known for their production of exceptional quality Ports, their portfolio also includes: Warre’s, Graham’s, Cockburn’s and Dow’s. Quinta do Vesuvio’s superb steep terrain benefits from a unique blend of microclimates and soil composition that ideal for Port production. The 400-hectare property, is home to about 100 hectares of vineyards, planted to Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional. The estate produces two Douro DOC wines, and two extraordinary Vintage Ports.
