Nederburg Wines

Located in Parrl, South African, Nederburg Wines was originally founded in 1791 by Philippus Wolvaart. They make a variety of different wines, from dry whites to rich reds and even dessert wines. Each wine has been named in honor of someone or something that has made a specific impact on the owners. Today, the estate includes a beautiful thatched Dutch manor house dating back from 1800. Their current red winemaker is Wilhelm Pienaar who joined them after studying enology, viticulture and marketing at the Université of Montpellier.
