The José Michel et Fils Champagne House represents one of the oldest winegrowing families based amongst the famed villages of Champagne. With their vineyards lying in the Moussy Village, the estate is just a stone’s throw away from Champagne’s capital, Épernay. A tradition carried out by the Michel family since the late 1800’s, today’s generation of Michels follow in the viticulture and vinification processes that have been passed down year after year. These artisan Champagnes are unique and rare, whereas most Champagnes focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties, José Michel also produces a brilliant refreshing and perfumed 100% Pinot Meunier. Each of the wines produce show genuine José Michel characteristics - fresh on the palate and complex in character, these bottles can be aged for decades.
