Ricasoli

Ricasoli is the most representative winery in Chianti Classico. The property consists of 1.200 hectares (240 of vineyards and 26 of olive groves) and is located in Gaiole, Chianti. Here, since 1993, Baron Francesco Ricasoli has been guiding the company towards innovative challenges, with the deepest respect for his ancestors who have made this territory great - first and foremost, Bettino Ricasoli. Francesco Ricasoli, current owner and President, has developed new ideas and concepts to work and live the vineyards in a more sustainable way.

The continuous study of soil types and the clonal selection of 'Brolio Sangiovese' are among his greatest passions, which have led him to renew the vineyards and completely map them out. The new wines are therefore the expression of this vision, where continuous scientific research and avant-garde techniques combine perfectly with a long history and tradition, resulting in unique products with a strong identity.
