Fratelli Alessandria is a family-owned winery rooted in the history of Barolo and the traditions of the Langhe. Originally established as Fratelli Dabbene, the winery's headquarters date back to the late 18th century, with the house still inhabited by the current owners. Gian Battista, along with his brother Alessandro and wife Flavia, represents the seventh generation of the family, while their son Vittore has already joined the winemaking business, marking the eighth generation.

Their heritage is represented by vineyards covering approximately 15 hectares, scattered among the most suitable areas for red wines in the Verduno territory. The vineyards vary in altitude, exposure (ranging from southwest to due east), and soil composition, from fine white marls to significant sandy areas. The winery is a historic entity linked to the creation of Barolo. Harvests are done manually, following traditional seasonal rhythms. Cellar operations are traditional, with prolonged fermentations and macerations, aging in large Slavonian oak barrels, and extended bottle aging.
