Full-bodied and complex, surprisingly Drappier Champagne is not amongst the famous names of the region, but their wines should not be overlooked. With a history dating back to 1808 the Drappier House lies in the region of Aub, at the southern-most part of Champagne. Today, the domaine is run by Michel Drappier and they pride themselves on their authenticity and natural approach. With very low dosages and extremely restricted use of sulfites, the wines perfectly highlight Drappier’s unique terroir and wine-making methods. The Champagnes each have a desirable complexity due to the high proportion of Pinot Noir.
