Domaine Michel Niellon

One of the most renowned domaines in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Michel Niellon first began with Léon Niellon, followed by Marcel Niellon and then Michel, who began bottling his family’s wines in the 1960s. The estate’s 7.5-hectare vineyard is farmed sustainably, with tilling of the soil during the growing season. Harvesting and winemaking at Michel Niellon remains traditional, but they use a state-of-art vinification cellar that they built several years to bring out the quality of fruit. Today, the domaine is managed by Michel’s son-in-law, also named Michel.
