Domaine Gauby
Domaine Gauby is one of the most sought after domaines in the Roussillon. It is located 20 km northwest of Perpignan and extends about 85 hectares in total, including 45 hectares of vines which are up to 120-years-old. The scrubland surrounding the domaine remains as one of the most beautiful, hilly and enchanting areas in the region. Surrounded by such a natural environment, Domaine Gauby try to grow their grapes in the most natural way possible. The estate produces both red and white wines. Their reds, which fall under the Côtes-de-Roussillon AOC, are comprised of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Carignan of varying percentages. Their top cuvée, Muntada, has the highest percentage of old-vine Carignan, a variety that thrives here in the Mediterranean climate.
