Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard
Fontaine-Gagnard was founded in 1985 by Laurence Gagnard, daughter of Jacques Gagnard, and her husband, Richard Fontaine, following a successful career in the air force. Their daughter, Céline also helps out with the domaine. They own 12 hectares of vineyards and are believers in more natural grape growing, they follow organic methods in order to keep the purity of the fruit intact. Their vines are mostly located in Chassagne-Montrachet with some smaller parcels in Volnay and Pommard. The vineyards are dispersed over 22 appellations, including 12 Premier Crus and the 3 Grand Crus - Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and Le Montrachet.
