The largest and most renowned vineyards of Pouilly-Fumé belong to Domaine de Ladoucette. Reminiscent of grand Bordeaux châteaux, Château du Nozet is a lavish property situated in the center of the Loire region. Owned by the Comte Lafond and Ladoucette families since 1788, the estate is currently run by sixth generation Patrick de Ladoucette. Much of de Ladoucette’s esteemed reputation was built by Patrick himself. Taking over his family’s château in 1972, he was the first to put all of his efforts into raising the quality of their wines.
