Domaine Anne Gros

Anne-Françoise Gros is the sister of Michel and Bernard Gros and the cousin of Anne Gros. Unlike many of her other relatives that are based in Vosne-Romanée, her cellar is based in Beaune, which she shares with her husband, winemaker François Parent of Pommard. It was originally created in 1988, when her grandfather's domaine, Louis Gros, was divided up, but then grew again later on with the purchase of a domaine in Flagey-Echézeaux and more vineyards in Savigny-lès-Beaune. She also received more vineyard holdings from her father’s domaine, Jean Gros, when he retired in 1996, when he dispersed his vineyards amongst his three children. The wines are produced by her husband François, and the appellations are well dispersed in both the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Each bottling features a portrait of a woman which represents how she interprets the style of that particular appellation.
