A. de Luze was originally created in 1822 by Alfred and Louis Philippe De Luze. It was formed following a trip they took to New York where they established an import agency in 1817. Today, the company is called Cognac De Luze and is owned by the Boinaud Family. It is based in Angeac-Champagne in Charente. The blends of their cognacs contain 70% Grande Champagne coming from the Boinaud family's own vineyards. They also make their own barrels enabling them to master their maturation process.
