Château Moulin Saint-Georges

Like the famed Saint-Émilion based Château Ausone, Château Moulin Saint-Georges is owned by the Vauthier family. While the property boasts a long vinous history, the Vauthier family purchased Moulin Saint-Georges in 1921. Situated not far from Ausone, the 7-hectare property, planted to about 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, can be seen from the main road on your way into the village of Saint-Émilion. the resulting wines - produced by the same team as Ausone – are admirable, high-quality Saint-Émilion creations at a fraction of the cost.
