Château Liouner was bought by the Bosq family in the 1920s. Longtime residents of the Médoc, the estate has been owned and managed by four different generations of the family so far. In 1956, the family owned 1.5 hectares but by 1981, their vineyard holdings grew to over 12 hectares. The vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (40%) and Petit Verdot (10%). The family also owns Château Cantegric, a small 5-hectare estate, which they acquired in 1975.
