Located in Lalande-de-Pomerol, Château Jean de Gué is owned by one of Saint-Émilion's finest proprietors, the Aubert family (whose other properties include Saint-Émilion's Couspaude and Saint Hubert). Jean de Gué is the family's latest acquisition and includes 10 hectares of vineyards planted to Merlot (75%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). In many vintages, it is considered one of Robert Parker's "sleeper of the vintage", enabling it to usually deliver excellent quality at a good price.
