Château de Pez lies west of the Saint-Estèphe commune and rivals Calon Ségur as the most ancient of all the Bordeaux vineyards. With a history dating back to 1452, the estate has passed through a series of owners, until 1995, when it was bought by Champagne Louis Roederer. Thanks to continuous investment, Château de Pez has been carefully renovated since it was acquired. Today, this wonderful Cru Bourgeois has been restored to its previous status and has taken its place as one of the leading estates in Saint-Estèphe.
