Château Andron Blanquet
In 1971, the Audoy family, who already happily owned Château Cos Labory, bought its neighbour Château Andron Blanquet from their friend Henri Liquard. This estate, historically classified as an “Exceptional Cru Grand Bourgeois”, was welcomed into the family like the small brother of Cos Labory. Bernard Audoy and his family went to live there. The way Cos Labory wines are made is applied to those of Andron Blanquet also. The vines are looked after with the same care and apart from the percentage of new wood used (50% for Cos Labory and 30% for Andron Blanquet), the two wines are aged with the same principles. Andron Blanquet may not have the power and the strength of Cos Labory, but it is a worthy younger brother of the greater wine!
