Critics scores
90 Robert Parker
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Malescasse leaps from the glass with vibrant black cherries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly scents plus wafts of garrigue, baking spices, wild sage and fragrant earth. The medium-bodied palate is lively and refreshing with bags of crunchy black fruit and a grainy texture, finishing with an herbal lift.

Château Malescasse
Malescasse has played an important part on the Médoc wine scene since it was first created in 1824. Everything at Malescasse emanates a feeling of peace and harmony with its surroundings. Located on one of the most picturesque gravelly rises found between the Margaux and Saint-Julien appellations, Malescasse’s vines benefit not only from well-drained soils, but also a temperate microclimate due to its vicinity to the Gironde. The resulting wines are delicate and natural.
