Tiefes Purpur, satt in der Mitte, Granatschimmer am Rand. Delikates Bouquet mit Zedern, Edelhölzern und ganz reifen Waldbeeren, schon in der Nase eine Delikatesse. Viel Stoff im Gaumen, süsses Extrakt, wirkt momentan noch etwas verhalten, klingt aber lange nach und wird sehr lange auf hohem Niveau eine grosse Klasse darstellen. Mit 28 % Cabernet Sauvignon und 28 % Cabernet Franc im Merlotblend eine Assemblage-Rarität und somit so oder so etwas ganz Spezielles. warten (2018 - 2035)

It has been many years since l’Arrosee made a wine this brilliant. Always one of the more delicate, Burgundian-styled St.-Emilions, the 2009 exhibits seductive, beautiful raspberry and black cherry fruit intermixed with hints of minerality as well as spicy oak. Lavishly concentrated, full and fresh, ethereal in both its texture and weight, and light on its feet, it can be drunk early in life yet has the stuffing and balance to last 20-25+ years. Note: Bottle variation was an issue. This note is for the best tasting examples.

Château l'Arrosée
Château l'Arrosée was originally named after an underground spring. For many years, it was owned by François Rodham. In 2002, Roger Caille purchased it and began managing it with his son, Jean-Philippe. Though they made many investments in order to tap into the estate's great potential, in October 2013, they sold it to Domaine Clarence Dillon, the owner of Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut-Brion. L'Arrosée's vineyards are now be incorporated into the neighboring Château Quintus, a property Dillon bought in 2011, which had been formerly named Château Tertre Daugay, and renamed Quintus after the Gallo-Roman tradition of calling their fifth child Quintus.
