Ancient vines with knotted roots are nurtured in the traditional gobelet style in the soil typical of the region, laden with large round pebbles. When the Mistral blows - the legendary wind from the Alps - it whistles down the Rhône Valley cooling the vines and revealing aromas of Garrigue. Today, the estate remains in the hands of Jacques Perrin’s sons, Jean-Pierre and François. A blend of the the Famille Perrin’s talents, the estate follows strict founding values, consisting of respect for the land and terroir through biodynamic agriculture techniques that accentuate their quest for truth, balance and elegance. Planted on ancestral soils, Château de Beaucastel cultivates 13 grape varieties well-known in Châteauneuf du Pape. Each vintage is a unique and exceptional combination of power, structure, sophistication and freshness.
