Château Tour Haut-Caussan
Château Tour Haut-Caussan is a 17-hectare Bordeaux property with vineyards located in both Blaignan (clay-limestone soils) and Potensac. Its current owners, the Courrian family, have lived in the region since 1634. Their grandfather bought the property, its vines and windmill in 1877. The fourth generation is currently running the helm, with Véronique Courrian in charge of marketing and sales, while Fabien Courrian runs the winemaking and vineyards. Tour Haut-Caussan’s annual production is approximately 100,000 bottles. The wine is comprised of 50% each of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are picked by hand before being fermented and then aged in French oak barrels of which 25% are new.
