Château Romassan
Château Romassan forms part of the famed Domaines Ott estates. Acquired by the Ott family in 1956, they spent over 30 years renovating the domaine. This included replanting the vineyards with quality grape varieties, reorganizing the small one- and two-hectare plots and levelling the land to create both espalier and terraced vineyards. They also refurbished the eighteenth-century building that overlooks the estate. Lying at the foot of Le Castellet village, in the center of the Bandol appellation, Romassan makes unique top-quality wines that are true to the region. Today, the estate is home to 60 hectares of vineyards, and like all of the wineries of Domaines Ott, Château Romassan is now owned and managed by Champagne Louis Roederer.
