Château Bertinat Lartigue
Château Bertinat Lartigue is a lesser known château located in Saint-Émilion which produces some delicious and well-priced reds. Richard and Danielle Dubois took over their family’s vineyards in 1985 and have not looked back. Their uncompromising goal was to produce the best wine possible and, though the wine was already excellent, increase quality. They significantly cut back yields (their top wines are often harvested at an incredible low 10-12 hectolitres per hectare) and picked and vinified plot-by-plot, ensuring optimum ripeness in a given vintage. Their flagship red is produced from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
