Château Belle Rose
A lesser known Pauillac property, Château Belle-Rose was first created in 1850 by the Rabere family, a long established Médoc family. In 1925, the château was sold to Raymond Dupin and his associates. Raymond was a well-known character who was known for his decadent lifestyle. Several years later, he purchased Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste. While he retained Grand-Puy-Lacoste for many years, he resold Belle-Rose to Lucien Jugla, the then owner of Pédésclaux. From 1965, his five children have managed the estate.
