A fine and caressing red with berry and chocolate character. Medium body. Light tannins and a clean and delicious finish. Very delicious is all I can say. Hints of spice and sage to the fruit at the end. A syrah and petit verdot-based blend. Drink or hold.

Castello del Terriccio
Castello del Terriccio is a significant estate located north of Bolgheri, within the Maremma lines. Spread across a major block of Tuscany, encompassing an impressive 1,700-hectares, the land is home to 60-hectares of vineyards and a horse farm. The sloping plots of vines overlook the sea, providing a maritime-like microclimate. Former rider, Gian Annibale Rossi di Medelana Serafini Ferri owns this beautiful property and continues his passion for horses as an avid breeder at his farm. Producing some of Italy’s most modern wines, consulting oenologist, Carlo Ferrini crafts four fresh yet complex reds, and two whites. The rich flagship wine, Lupicaia is now its own brand – bottled under G.A. Rossi di Medelana. In the same spirit of excellence, the property produces Tassinaia, a boldly structured Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend.
