Birrificio Bruton

Birrificio Brùton is an artisan brewery located just outside of the Lucca. This charming Italian city in Tuscany is not too far from Florence. Founded in 2006, the youthful and enthusiastic individual behind this brewery is Iacopo Lenci. Getting his start in beer as a home-brewer, his dedication for the craft has led to his current world-renowned production. Influenced by various beer styles from around the world – like those from Belgium, Germany, England, the Czech Republic and the U.S. – Birrificio Brùton’s beers are nonetheless unique, beautifully balanced and easy to drink benchmark examples. Hand-crafted, each of their beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle. In short, this means that the yeast is still active - resulting in a somewhat opalescence color – this approach enhances the complexity of the flavors over time.
