Bergweiler Prüm

This estate was originally created by Zacharias Bergweiler, who was considered one of the most respected wine growers in the region. His ancestors of both the Bergweiler and Prüm families, were long referred to in the region and were actually first mentioned in official records in 1156. After many years of winemaking, his grandson, Dr. Peter Pauly ended up taking over his vineyards. Today the vineyards consist of 42 hectares located around the villages of Bernkastel, Wehlen, Graach, Zeltingen, Ürzig, Erden and Brauneberg.
