Auguste Bessac

August Bessac is a négociant in the Rhône Valley, which produces a range of appellations from both the northern and southern areas, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône, Gigondas, Crozes-Hermitage and Lirac. The original company was established in 1800 and produced barrels to age and transport wine. However, in the 20th century, its focused shifted to wine, though it still produces barrels for its own wine production.
