Puligny Montrachet Enseigneres 2018 75cl

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières wafts from the glass with notions of beeswax, orange oil and crisp green apple. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's textural but incisive, with a delicate core of fruit, racy acids and a saline finish. While it isn't as concentrated as the 2017 rendition, it's more immediate and overtly charming.

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères exhibits aromas of citrus oil, white flowers and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium-bodied, bright and incisive palate that's seamless and nicely balanced, even if it can't quite match the depth or concentration of the 2017 rendition.
