A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2011 Aria di Caiarossa opens to dark and meaty aromas of plum, prune, Morello cherry, savory spice and cured meat. You get dense, masculine tones here. The wine shows enormous grip and power in the mouth.
