<br/>A ripe red with aromas of plums, orange peel, dried flowers and stones, following through to a medium body with ultra-fine tannins and a level of balance and refinement that provides a sense of sophistication and harmony. Rather ethereal and subtle, it takes time to show itself. Great length, building nicely through the finish. Give this a year or two. But it will age beautifully for years to come.

Well-marked by smoky new oak, this red takes on darker tones of black cherry, blackberry, iron and tobacco. Shows viscosity and intensity, with finely wrought tannins engaging on the smoke- and spice-infused aftertaste. Classy. Best from 2028 through 2043. 290 cases made, 60 cases imported.
