Mit 51 % mehr Merlot als Cabernet (42 %) und Petit Verdot (7 %). Sattes Purpur-Granat, dicht in der Mitte, lila Schimmer aussen. Viel Heidelbeeren, schwarze Beeren, kompakt und dicht, darunter Rauchnoten und viel Lakritze. Imposanter Gaumen, stützende Adstringenz und viel schwarze Frucht im Extrakt, zeigt im Innern den markanten St. Estèphe-Biss, viel Potential das es zu verdauen gilt. (18/20). 15: Bei einem Diner im Pfäffikon. Er hat sich gut gemacht. Strahlt die 2009er Wärme aus - ist aber nicht heiss. Ein schöner Klassiker, welcher nicht allzulange auf sich warten lässte.

Big and massive wine for this appellation. Some may say too much but loads of fruit underneath. Full and chewy. Needs two to three years to soften.

The 2009 Tronquoy Lalande, a blend of 51% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot, is the finest wine they have yet produced. It reveals an opulent bouquet of mulberries, blueberries, raspberries and spring flowers, full body, silky tannin, low acidity and a lush, pure mouthfeel. This uncharacteristically round, generous, sumptuous wine should be drinkable early on.<br/>

This is smoky and fleshy, with solid plum, baked fig and dark cherry preserves flavors, followed by hints of cedar and roasted tobacco that should emerge more with modest cellaring. Drink now through 2019.
