Located in the picturesque village of Meursault, lies Domaine Jacques Prieur. Today, 30 percent is owned by the Prieurs who originally established the domaine in 1870, and 70 percent is owned by the Labruyère family and, who first became financial partners in 1988. Jean-Pierre Labruyère and Martin Prieur are at the management helm.
The domaine owns 21 hectares of vineyards in some of the top terroir sites including Musigny, Chambertin, Clos de Bèze, Clos de Vougeot, Echézeaux and various Cortons and premier crus. In addition to owned vines, the domaine also holds extensive contracts with grape growers in order to produce multiple appellations across the Côte de Beaune as well as the Côte de Nuits.
Winemaking is carried out by Nadine Gublin, an oenologist who worked for many years at Antonin Rodet.
