Château Les Ormes Sorbet is a family winery located in the heart of the Médoc appellation in the village of Couquèques. It has belonged to the Boivert family since 1764. Hélène Boivert and her two sons, Vincent and Francis, represent the 9th generation of winemakers. Located near the Gironde River, the château's different plots are located on the famous Eocène limestone dome geologically designated as "Couquèques limestone". The estate uses sustainable agriculture in order to respect their natural environment as much as possible. Here, Cabernet Sauvignon prevails and is assembled with Merlot and Petit Verdot to offer a consistent finesse and elegance despite vintage differences.
